One of the best ways to see the Lake Tahoe region and the surrounding mountains is from our enclosed lifts. Palisades Tahoe uniquely offers a Base to Base Gondola, an Aerial Tram, and a Funitel. Our Sightseeing Package provides all-day unlimited access to these lifts. Plus, with each sightseeing pass purchased, you receive a $5 food voucher valid Friday through Sunday at Rocker, High Camp, and 39 North.

The Aerial Tram
The Aerial Tram takes you from 6,200 feet elevation in The Village at Palisades Tahoe up to 8,200 feet, where you can see the stunning Sierra Nevada all the way to Desolation Wilderness, and the gleaming blue of Lake Tahoe from above. Up at High Camp, you can choose from dining options like Granite Pizza Co, the Terrace Bar & Restaurants, or the High Camp Marketplace, and also visit our free Olympic Museum. The best place to catch ski action is from the Gold Coast area. Take in the views of our namesake, The Palisades, a rock formation that hosts serious powder-day throwdowns with some of the best skiers and riders in the game. Plus, the Gold Coast area has a sunny deck and multiple dining options for you to grab a bite or a craft drink. The Base to Base Gondola travels between our two mountains, connecting The Village at Palisades Tahoe and the Alpine Lodge.
