The gondola will connect our two legendary mountains.
Welcome to a New Era of Legendary Adventure
You no longer have to choose between the high-octane energy and legacy of Palisades, or the laid-back but adventurous vibe at Alpine. It’s now possible to explore all 6,000 acres of legendary terrain uninterrupted. The ability to create your own adventure at these two distinctly different, neighboring mountains has never been easier.

6,000 acres of legendary terrain. Uninterrupted.

One Connected Resort Experience

For years, skiers and riders have been forced to make a tough decision between the steeps, glades, and 3,600 skiable acres at Palisades or the down-home vibe, expansive bowls and hidden hike-to boundaries of Alpine. Now, we’ll no longer have to choose. Connecting the two base areas by a one-of-a-kind gondola provides easy, uninterrupted access to our unique and varied terrain.
New Ways to Access Your Favorite Terrain
The gondola has the ability to operate as one continuous lift or as two separate lifts from each base area to the top of KT-22. This means that skiers and riders will have one more way to access the steeps and chutes of the Mothership.
See the Sierra Like Never Before
The gondola spans 2.4 miles and ascends nearly 2,000 vertical feet, allowing skiers and riders to take in the breathtaking sights of the Sierra during the 16-minute journey. On the ride up, delight in the sweeping views of Granite Chief Wilderness, Lake Tahoe, and Palisades Tahoe’s legendary peaks.

TERRAIN

With more than 100 trails to explore, Alpine’s impeccable top-to-bottom groomers and wide-open cruisers are the perfect terrain to keep intermediate skiers and riders feeling entertained and confident, but in-the-know experts flock to the most treasured corners of Alpine: its hike-to bowls -- Covert spots like Beaver Bowl, Estelle Bowl, and Grouse Ridge.

THE ALPINE LODGE

There’s a crackling fireplace, cozy benches to sip a coffee or hot chocolate with friends, and massive windows that look out over the snow-covered slopes. This inviting, family-friendly lodge is easily accessible from the parking lot, has everything you need under one roof, and the lifts are just steps away. On sunny days, don't miss the impressive sun deck for outdoor après.

LAKE VIEWS

Need proof that Alpine has some of the best views of Lake Tahoe around? There’s a chairlift named Lakeview Chair—and it delivers on its name. You can catch panoramic sights of the lake from many vantage points around the mountain.
