Season Pass Requirements
Midweek-only athletes may be invited to Team events on weekends throughout the season and do require a day pass or valid season pass for those days.
Athletes enrolled in the following programs also train at Woodward Tahoe and must purchase a discounted Woodward season or monthly pass:
- Palisades Park & Pipe Competitive Team
- Palisades Skier Boarder Cross Competitive Team
- Palisades Tahoe Freeride Competitive Teams – U12, U15, U21
- Palisades Tahoe Snowboard Competitive Teams – U12, U15, U21
Team Uniform
- All athletes are required to wear the appropriate Team Palisades Tahoe uniform on training and – if applicable - competition/race days.
- Athletes under 51” are issued and required to wear a Kindervest when on Team. Athletes cannot ski/ride without their Kindervest if they are assigned one.
Registration
This includes:
- Athletes who have not been part of Team Palisades Tahoe before
- Athletes who have skipped one or more seasons with Team Palisades Tahoe
- Dependents of Palisades Tahoe or Alterra employees
- Siblings of current Team Palisades Tahoe athletes

Athlete Policies
- Athletes must review and uphold all Team Agreements and consistently demonstrate behavior aligned with the Team Code of Conduct.
- Failure to comply with any safety policy, agreement, or code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension from Team Palisades Tahoe.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refund Eligibility for Seasonal Winter Programs
Cancellations submitted on or before October 1 of the program season are eligible for a full refund. To initiate a refund, written notice must be provided to the TPT Office via email at teams@palisadestahoe.com.
Refund eligibility is contingent upon all applicable products and services having been purchased on or before the stated date. This refund policy does not apply to any uniforms that have already been placed with the supplier and/or other items placed with third-party suppliers. This policy is not applicable to team travel, camps, or other non-seasonal programs.
Other Refund Requests
Requests for refunds submitted after the deadline must be made to the TPT Office in writing and delivered via email at teams@palisadestahoe.com within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of a qualifying event. Please see the Team Agreement for qualifying event details.
Refunds will be reviewed in accordance with the following schedule:
- October 1 through December 31: Eligible for a refund of seventy-five percent (75%) of enrollment fees.
- January 1 through January 31, 2026: Eligible for a refund of fifty percent (50%) of enrollment fees.
- February 1 and thereafter: No refunds of enrollment fees shall be issued.
All refund determinations are subject to verification of the qualifying event and are at the sole discretion of TPT and Palisades Tahoe. Refunds for all non-seasonal programs, products, and services are addressed separately or as communicated by product/service.
Families and Guardians
Family and Guardian Expectations
- Required to attend family orientation.
- Required to remain on-site during team hours and expected to arrive within 10–15 minutes in case of an emergency or early pickup request.
- Must actively communicate the needs of athletes, including injuries.
- Must RSVP to all training days and event days in the Team management app.
- Must be successfully registered in the Team management app.
- Must remain actively engaged with Team communication method(s) and check schedule updates regularly.
For Foundational Programs
For athletes in our Foundational Programs, including Rangers, Shooting Stars, Mighty Mites, and Mighty Riders, families should follow these additional expectations:
- Dress your athlete warmer than you dress yourself.
- Ensure athletes are properly hydrated and have had a healthy breakfast, or lunch for afternoon programs.
- Ensure athletes arrive with a smile and are ready to ski in all types of weather.
- Ensure athletes have plenty of nutritious pocket snacks.
Pick Up/Drop Off And Supervision
Pick-Up, Drop-Off, and Supervision
- Athletes must be on time and ready to ski. Late drop-offs are not accommodated.
- It is the responsibility of guardians and family members to download the Team management app and check for scheduled events and real-time Team communication.
- This applies in particular to teams where daily drop-off and pick-up arrangements change frequently and are coordinated by the Head Coach.
- This is most common for older age groups, as well as development and competitive teams.
Supervision of Minors: Athletes Ages 9 and Under
In accordance with TPT program safety protocols and liability standards, the following requirements apply to the supervision of minor athletes under the age of nine (9):
- A guardian, or their designated representative, of each athlete under the age of nine (9) must remain physically present within the boundaries of the Palisades Tahoe resort for the full duration of the athlete’s participation in any TPT program. Guardian Presence Requirement:
- For athletes participating in programs located at Palisades, Olympic Valley, a guardian or designated representative must remain on-site at Palisades, Olympic Valley. Location-Specific Presence:
- For athletes participating in programs located at Alpine, Alpine Meadows, a guardian or designated representative must remain on-site at Alpine, Alpine Meadows.
- A guardian, or their designated representative, must be reachable by mobile phone at all times while the athlete is engaged in any TPT program. Emergency Contact Availability:
- In the event of an emergency or urgent communication, the guardian or designated representative is required to respond to any voice or text message within ten (10) minutes of receipt.
- Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in the athlete’s removal from the program for the day and/or further disciplinary action, at the sole discretion of TPT program administrators.
Supervision of Minors: Athletes Ages 18 and Under
- All parents or legal guardians, or their designated representatives, of minor athletes under the age of eighteen (18) enrolled in a TPT program are required to remain immediately contactable at all times during program activities.
- In the event of an emergency, they must be available to meet their athlete within a reasonable timeframe, not to exceed ten (10) minutes from the initial attempt at contact.
- Should a guardian or designated representative be unreachable during an emergency, TPT staff will act in accordance with the guidance of Palisades Tahoe Ski Patrol, the recommendations of local medical personnel, and applicable law.
- This may include, but is not limited to, transportation of the athlete to a nearby medical facility via ground or air ambulance.
- All costs incurred as a result of any medical treatment, emergency response, or transportation services, whether deemed necessary by licensed medical, clinical, or healthcare professionals and/or by Palisades Tahoe or TPT leadership, are the sole financial responsibility of the athlete’s guardian.
