Skip The Stress of Parking & Let Us Do The Driving

The program is scheduled to run on weekends only for the 2025-26 season.

This season, you can take advantage of our free, convenient shuttle to the mountain every Saturday and Sunday through April 13, 2025. TART Park & Ride shuttles will run frequently between Tahoe City and Truckee to The Village at Palisades Tahoe, starting between 6:30 and 7:45 each morning. The return shuttles run until 5:45 p.m., so you can stick around for après!

Park and Ride is on weekends only, but you can always take TART from Truckee or Tahoe City to the resort. TART will service the TTUSD lots in Truckee during the holiday period, and you can always catch the TART from the Tahoe City Transit Center.

The TART Park & Ride is open to anybody who wants to use it. It is free -- all you need to do is show up. The Park & Ride is an especially great option for families or solo skiers. This initiative is one of our many efforts to combat traffic and parking in the Tahoe basin. Thank you for doing your part to help us!

Please note: The Park & Rides only drop off at The Village at Palisades Tahoe. There is no drop-off at Alpine Lodge or anywhere in the community of Alpine Meadows. You can take the Base to Base Gondola to Alpine. The Gondola runs between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, weather and conditions permitting.

There is a large parking lot here and you may park wherever you'd like. In the case of inclement weather, the Transit Center has a nice, heated warming area you can use at your leisure.

Where You'll Get Dropped Off/Picked Up at the Mountain

The TART Bus Stop is near The Village at Palisades Tahoe, also known as the "Clocktower" bus stop. You will be a short walk away from the Aerial Tram building. The bus stop is marked with signage and is sheltered for inclement weather days.
