At The Village at Palisades Tahoe, we offer nine different room types. There is something to fit your group's needs no matter the size. Please note: All units are privately owned. Furnishings and configurations are different in each unit.

Standard Room
One of the best values in The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Our cozy standard rooms offer approximately 250 sq. ft., warm custom furnishings, a mini-fridge and comfortably sleeps up to 2 guests. These rooms have a microwave, a queen sofa sleeper and a queen size bed, but they don't have balconies or fireplaces. Please note that all rooms are individually owned and decorated differently. While some have similarities, such as the same carpet or hard wood floors, many things in the room are unique to that room. The photos displayed for all room types represent some of our rooms. Please understand that when you arrive to your room, it may look very different than what you see in the photos.

Studio Suites
Budget-conscious option with a little extra space, Studio Suites offer approximately 500 sq. ft. of space and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. These rooms have a queen size bed, but they do not have balconies.

Accessibility Information
The Village at Palisades Tahoe is a property management company, not a hotel. Our ADA compliancy is similar to that of a private home, but reasonable requests can be accommodated. Accessible features include:
  • All Front Desks and Lobbies have ramps or street-level access, as well as elevator access.
  • Underground parking is equipped with an elevator for easy room access.
  • Showers in our fitness centers have roll-in capability.
  • Room numbers & elevators have brail.
  • Fire alarms have blinking lights in addition to sound to notify hearing-impaired individuals.
  • All stairwells have emergency buttons in case guests need help evacuating.

Our standard check-in time is at 4pm the day of your arrival.

Do you have a pool and/or hot tub?
Lodging guests at the Village at Palisades Tahoe can access 8 outdoor hot tubs located in the base area. Please note: the High Camp pool and hot tub at the top of the mountain are closed for Summer 2021. Our hot tubs will be closed through October 15 for construction. Guests can expect work to be done during the hours of 8am and 4pm, minimal noise impacts. We apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this.

Deposit / Final Payment
Summer/Fall 2021 (April 16, 2021-November 24, 2021, excluding Holidays)
A deposit of two (2) night room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 5 days prior to guest arrival. If reservation is booked inside 5 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Winter 2021-22 (November 25,2021 – April 14, 2022, excluding Holidays)
A deposit of two (2) nights room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 7 days prior to guest arrival. If reservation is booked inside 7 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.


Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of Summer/Fall Reservations (April 15-November 24, 2021):
Must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancelation fees. Cancellations made less than 5 day prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Winter 2021-22 (November 25,2021 – April 14, 2022, excluding Holidays):
Must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival date will forfeit an amount equal to Two (2) night’s room rate (plus applicable taxes and fees). Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Holiday 2021-22 (December 17, 2021 – January 1, 2022):
Must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Summer/Fall 2022 (April 15, 2022 – November 23, 2022):
Must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancelation fees. Cancellations made less than 5 day prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Winter 2022-23 (November 24, 2022 – April 13, 2023):
Must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival date will forfeit an amount equal to Two (2) night’s room rate (plus applicable taxes and fees). Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Holiday 2022-23 (December 16, 2022 – December 31, 2022):
Must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation of Summer/Fall 2022-23 (April 14, 2023 – November 22, 2023):
Must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancelation fees. Cancellations made less than 5 day prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

  • We will certainly do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have, though, due to some limitations, we can't always honor all wishes. Please contact the front desk for more information.
  • Please note that The Village at Palisades Tahoe does not have central air conditioning. To alleviate this issue, we have portable air conditioning units in most of the rooms, however, this is not as efficient and cooling as central air conditioning. The temperatures at night are cool, ranging on average between 40 and 55 degrees. You will find that opening your window and using the fan cools the room should you find the temperature uncomfortable.
  • Quiet hours in The Village at Palisades Tahoe are from 10pm to 8am.
