Our Events Team comprises of highly skilled team members with experience in managing large-scale events and film shoots in mountains terrain. At Palisades Tahoe our venues offer beautiful High Sierra views while providing with easy access in which to host your next event or photo shoot. Onsite Coordination
Not only will the Palisades Tahoe event staff handle all of the technical arrangements leading up to your event or film shoot, but you will also be assigned an onsite coordinator to make sure things go smoothly during your stay. Need access to an off-road vehicle to scout the perfect location for your next scene? We’ll pick you up in our fleet on snow or off.

Insurance Requirements
Be aware that you will need to provide Palisades Tahoe with insurance before your event dates. Minimum coverage starts at $2,000,000 liability and $4,000,000 aggregate, these minimums increase based on risk at your event to participants and are all established using the industry requirements.
Palisades Tahoe Certificate of Insurance (COI) sample requirements
General Liability / Umbrella Limits:- $2,000,000 per Occurrence
- $4,000,000 General Aggregate
- $1,000,000 Products
- $1,000,000 Personal and Advertisers Injury
- $1,000,000 Blanket Contractual
- $50,000 Fire Damage
Use the same entity legal names listed in the contract for the named additional insured status:- Squaw Valley Resort, LLC, (activities at Squaw)
- Squaw Valley Real Estate, LLC (activities at Squaw within base area activities)
All COI are addressed to: PO Box 2007 Olympic Valley, CA 96146. Must include:- Name of event and dates
- The Certificate Holder is added as additional insured but only in respect to operations of the named insured or by contract if applicable.
- Promoter’s coverage shall be primary and noncontributory with respect to any coverage maintained by Resort.
- No participant or spectator exclusions shall be contained within any of the required coverages
- No Waivers of subrogation
- Certificate holder is Additional Insured under Auto
Village at Palisades Tahoe Policy- Palisades Tahoe Resort and The Village at Palisades Tahoe are separate entities and require separate contracts and insurance. We are happy to connect you to the correct representative if you desire to work with The Village at Palisades Tahoe.
- Palisades Tahoe Resort does not provide lodging or transportation for The Village at Palisades Tahoe shoots but will try to help facilitate upon request
Drone/Unmanned Aerial System Policy
Out of safety concerns for guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Palisades Tahoe Resort prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public – including recreational users and hobbyists – without the prior written authorization from the Palisades Tahoe Resort. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping which includes, except in the certain circumstances described below, no commercial or editorial drone use by media or journalists operating from, on or above resort property. Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and/or the U.S. Forest Service, as well as those policies separately established by this resort, which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, waivers, or releases of liability. Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your skiing or snowboarding privileges, or the revocation of your season pass, as well as confiscation of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damage, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees. rich-text, responsive-table -
