Protect Our Winters Carpool Parking
Protect Our Winters (POW) Carpool Parking at Palisades Tahoe
We have partnered with Protect Our Winters (POW) to offer free, premium parking to guests who carpool to the resort with 3 or more occupants per vehicle. The POW Carpool Parking area is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
POW Parking Details
The Village at Palisades Tahoe: 800 designated spaces located in the main parking lot, with the entrance being off of Squaw Valley Rd near PlumpJacks.
Alpine Lodge Base Area: 75 spaces located adjacent to the base lodge, available until full on weekends. Alpine also has premium paid parking available.
The POW Parking program aligns with the resort’s mission to reduce its carbon footprint, raise awareness about how transportation contributes to climate change, and promote carpooling and efficient transportation within the region. We want to make sure that we are using our parking resources in a way that makes sense for our business, our guests, and our environment. We sincerely appreciate all of the guests who are taking advantage of this program and hope to continue to see the successful growth of carpooling at our resort. Traffic has a major impact on our guests, and POW Parking is one of a number of ways we are working to take cars off the road.
