Women’s Community Ride Day
Join Tailer Gray for Carving Cats, a women’s community snowboard day on Thursday, March 12 at Palisades Tahoe. Carving Cats is about coming together on snow creating space for connection, shared laps, and the kind of riding that builds confidence and camaraderie.
Whether you’re carving groomers, pouncing through powder, or simply enjoying time in the mountains, this day is an opportunity to meet new riding partners, strengthen friendships, and celebrate our local snowboard community.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we’ll wrap up the day with an après gathering at the KT Base Bargood music, good energy, and a chance to connect off the hill and carry the stoke a little longer.
All levels are welcome. Demo boards available from United Shapes. Come carve, connect, and ride together.
*Must have a valid Ikon Pass or lift ticket to participate.*

Morning Check-In – 8:00am
- Check in, meet & greet
- (bring your own bindings)Check out a United Shapes demo board
Let’s Ride – 9:00am
- Once lifts start spinning, we’ll head out for laps
- We encourage you to make a buddy to ride with for the day
- Start as one big crew with possible organic splits as the day goes on
Afternoon Check-In – 12:00pm
- Meet at the United Shapes tent
- Catch up, make some more friends, and hydrate
- Head back out for laps whenever it feels right for you and your buddy
Après – 2:00pm
- Meet at the KT Base Bar for après and community hangs
