An evening of poetry in Olympic Valley
Join the Community of Writers for its annual Benefit Poetry Reading, featuring acclaimed poets Kazim Ali, Ama Codjoe, Carmen Giménez, Brenda Hillman, Brian Teare, and Matthew Zapruder.
Presented in conjunction with the Community of Writers Poetry Program, this special event brings together participants and staff poets for an evening of contemporary poetry in the heart of Olympic Valley. Many of the poems shared may have been written during the workshop week itself, offering a unique glimpse into the creative process as it unfolds.
The event is free to attend, with a recommended donation of $25. All proceeds benefit the 2027 Poetry Program Scholarship Fund, helping ensure that talented poets from diverse backgrounds can participate regardless of financial circumstances.
