The Pain McShlonkey Classic Is Back

Come for the belly laughs and outrageous costumes on March 21.

Wax up your snowblades, dress up in your most outrageous ski duds, and come out to Palisades Tahoe for a day full of belly laughs, camaraderie, and philanthropy in celebration of legendary skier Shane McConkey.

The annual Pain McShlonkey Classic returns in honor of Shane’s irreverent spirit and big-mountain legacy. Timed with International Snowblade Day, this fan-favorite event brings together the ski community for a day of costumes, chaos, and giving back.

Where to Watch + Event Flow

The finish area will be located at the base of Exhibition, in the same place it has been in years past.

Athletes will once again take on a small uphill section as part of the course, keeping the event true to its signature format.

Spectators can catch the action from the KT Deck or from the bottom of Exhibition, both of which offer great views of the finish area.
