Prost! Tahoe City Oktoberfest Is Back
Celebrate 20 years of Tahoe City Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 19 at the Gatekeeper's Museum / William B. Layton State Park. This annual fall tradition brings together live music, local food and drinks, games, artisan vendors, and plenty of Bavarian-inspired fun along the shores of Lake Tahoe.
Admission is free and the event is family friendly, with activities for all ages throughout the afternoon. Beer Garden tickets are required for guests who want to enjoy the Beer Garden.
Free Transportation from Olympic Valley & West Shore
Free event shuttle service will operate throughout the day between Olympic Valley, West Shore neighborhoods, and the Tahoe City Transit Center, making it easy to get to and from Tahoe City Oktoberfest.
Park for free at Palisades Tahoe and ride the shuttle into Tahoe City, or hop aboard from one of the participating stops along the West Shore.

Park for free at Palisades Tahoe and ride the shuttle into Tahoe City, or hop aboard from one of the participating stops along the West Shore.
Important Notes
- Shuttle times are approximate and subject to traffic and road conditions.
- Seating is first come, first served.
- Please arrive at shuttle stops early during peak event hours.
- TART buses are also operating along the route. TART does not stop at Everline Resort & Spa or Granlibakken.
- Tahoe City Oktoberfest admission is free. Beer Garden tickets are sold separately.
