The Tahoe Literary Festival returns to Tahoe City for its third year, bringing three days of storytelling, conversation, creativity, and community to the shores of Lake Tahoe.
From October 9–11, acclaimed authors, poets, memoirists, and literary professionals will come together for author conversations, panels, workshops, readings, an open mic, book fair, Singer-Songwriters’ Showcase, and Writers' Retreat. Whether you're an avid reader, aspiring writer, or simply love a good story, the festival offers plenty of ways to join the conversation.

This year's festival welcomes an exciting lineup of voices from across the literary world, including bestselling author and two-time Survivor winner Parvati Shallow, California Poet Laureate Lee Herrick, Nevada Poet Laureate Shaun Griffin, author and Memoir Nation co-host Grant Faulkner, bestselling author Suzanne Roberts, and artist and naturalist Obi Kaufmann.
Additional participating authors include Priya Hutner, Melissa Duge Spiers, Greg Sarris, Josh Weil, Sands Hall, Karen Terrey, Jesse James Ziegler, Jared and Julia Drake of Wildbound PR, and many more.
