Learn how to check-in and pick-up your demo equipment at Palisades Tahoe.

Before reading this page, make sure you pull up your confirmation email. Make sure you take note of the Demo Center you chose: Alpine Demo Center or the Village Demo Center. We also have a Demo Center at Gold Coast, but this is located at the top of the Funitel and should be used mainly as a place to swap out gear throughout the day.

Regardless of what package you picked, you will want to make sure you have the following items with you for check-in:
- Your confirmation email: You may want to take a screenshot ahead of time in case you don't have service.
- A Valid ID: We will need to confirm the identity of the person who booked the rental at check-in.

ALPINE DEMO CENTER
The Alpine Demo Center is located within the Alpine Rental Shop on the lower level of the Alpine Lodge. Please enter from the east side of the building, closest to the Treeline Cirque and Base to Base Gondola terminals.

VILLAGE DEMO CENTER
The Village Demo Center is located in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, across from the Aerial Tram building and next to the Village Logo Company. Signage and our Mountain Hosts will help you get there.

Gold Coast Demo Center
At the top of the Funitel at Palisades, we have a Gold Coast Demo Center. This location is a great spot to swap gear throughout the day if you'd like to try different types of skis or snowboards. The Gold Coast Demo Center has hours that fluctuate, so be sure to check in with staff at other Demo locations before relying on this Center. rich-text, responsive-table
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pick up my tickets at the same time as my rental? Can I purchase tickets while picking up my rental?
Yes, you can pick up or purchase Lift Tickets, Tahoe Super 4-Packs or Midweek 4-Packs when you pick up your rental equipment. If you need to pick up or replace your Season Pass, you will need to visit one of our ticketing locations.
I want to ski multiple days. Can I store my equipment overnight?
New this season, our Village Rental Shop at Palisades will allow overnight storage if you have booked a multi-day rental. Please ask for this option when you are picking up your equipment. Please note that the Alpine Rental Shop does not offer overnight storage.
Do I need to accompany my child when they pick up their rentals?
Parents do not need to accompany their child if they have signed a Release of Liability waiver. Please be sure to sign this waiver before your child arrives to pick up their equipment; otherwise, we cannot allow them to use the rentals for the day. If the child is in the care of another adult for the day, that adult may sign their Release of Liability in-person.
Where can I keep my shoes or bag? Can I rent a locker?
Daily or multi-day locker rentals are available starting at $7/day for a small single-day locker. The best way to get information on this and make an informed choice for you and/or your friends/family is to visit our Locker Rental page, where the options are laid out in an easily understandable way.
