All races start and finish at The Village at Palisades Tahoe, site of the historic 1960 Winter Olympics.
The courses are relatively fast and flat, following a scenic out-and-back route along paved trails through the valley and beside the Truckee River. Along the way, runners may spot bald eagles, mule deer, and trout while enjoying the cool Sierra air.
Aid stations along the course will be stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, fruit, and snacks to keep you fueled from start to finish.
