Join us for a one-of-a-kind, on-the-mountain experience with scientists from the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center. Ski or ride alongside researchers as they bring Tahoe’s landscapes to life, sharing stories of forests, lakes, snowpack, and cutting-edge environmental research all while exploring Alpine’s terrain.
Featured Topic: AUV Missions in Tahoe & Antarctica
What does Lake Tahoe have to do with Antarctica? Join Alex Forrest for an inside look at research operations at TERC, both locally and abroad. Learn how scientists use Lake Tahoe as a testing ground for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and how this work helps prepare teams for upcoming research missions in some of the most extreme environments on Earth.
