Boarding For Breast Cancer is thrilled to announce the 22nd Annual Skate The Lake + Community Celebration, happening August 1–2, 2026 in North Lake Tahoe.
Skate The Lake is a 28 or 8 mile skate-bike-roll along a portion of the North Lake Tahoe shoreline, starting at Sugar Pine Point Park, rolling through Palisades Tahoe, and ending at Commons Beach. B4BC welcomes anyone on wheels of all ages and abilities to join this push for prevention while raising funds for B4BC's education, prevention, and survivorship programs.
Please help B4BC reach its $75K goal by registering today. Registration includes an event tee, goodie bag, and prizes for top fundraisers.
August 1 | Community Celebration
Kick off Skate The Lake with a Community Celebration on Saturday, August 1 at Commons Beach from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM. Swing by to register, grab your goodie bag, meet fellow skaters, and enjoy the good vibes.
Come for live music, yoga, tasty BBQ, cold drinks, a silent auction, and a huge raffle.
August 2 | Skate The Lake
Fundraising
To register, all skaters must fundraise a minimum of $50. Registration includes an event tee, goodie bag, and raffle tickets. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers, including individuals and teams.
Incentives
Virtual Participation + Photo Contest
If you can't join Skate The Lake in person, you can still participate virtually by registering, cruising your local path or trail, and posting to social. Tee shirts will be mailed directly to virtual participants.
Use the tags @b4bc and #skatethelake to be featured on B4BC's channels. A photo contest winner will be chosen on Monday, August 3.

Fundraising
To register, all skaters must fundraise a minimum of $50. Registration includes an event tee, goodie bag, and raffle tickets. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers, including individuals and teams.
Incentives
- Earn an extra 10 raffle tickets for every $100 fundraised
- Receive Yeti drinkware for raising over $150
- Registered participants receive a catered lunch at The Dub on Sunday, August 2

If you can't join Skate The Lake in person, you can still participate virtually by registering, cruising your local path or trail, and posting to social. Tee shirts will be mailed directly to virtual participants.
