In any season, one of the number one reasons for visiting Palisades Tahoe is the proximity to the lake. Lake Tahoe is just down the road, and so is the historic town of Truckee. This week, we have a number of free events going on in the North Lake Tahoe region, including in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, from Farmer's Markets to Live Music. Plus, you can add fun activities like hiking, biking, climbing, or swimming to your itinerary!

North Lake Tahoe Farmers Markets
Stock up on fresh fruits and veggies, local honey, and artisanal goods at one of our North Lake Tahoe Farmers Markets. The Tahoe City Farmers Market takes place every Thursday at Commons Beach from 8am-1pm. The Truckee Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday at the Regional Park from 8am-1pm.

First Street Yoga at Palisades Tahoe
Breathe and stretch with us this summer during our free outdoor yoga series! Every Wednesday night from July 5 to August 30 we will offer free yoga classes in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, outside next to the Palisades Yoga Studio. The complimentary classes kick off at 5pm and are taught by a different (amazing) local teacher each week. New to yoga? All levels are welcome, but please bring your own yoga mat.

Washoe Cultural Talk
Experience the mountains through the eyes of the Washoe people. Join Rhiana Jones, Environmental Program Director for the Washoe Tribe, at High Camp where she will share stories of Washoe history and culture from the Valley and surrounding mountains. The event is free, but registration is strongly recommended. If you are not a 2023/24 Ikon Pass holder, you will need to purchase an Aerial Tram ticket to join. Tour attendees can purchase an Aerial Tram ticket at a special discounted rate of $19/person. All ticket sales collected from the event will be donated to the Washoe Cultural Fund.
